Magic Tree Book Clubs!
There are several ongoing book clubs for kids of all ages at The Magic Tree. If you'd like to sign your child up for more information, call 708-848-0770 and ask to be on our Book Club call list. Here are several of the clubs that will continue this fall:

Book Club for Young Readers: Ages 8 - 11 years old.
Lively (we hope!) discussions of new and classic literature for young readers. Led by Magic Tree staff member Cynthia Douglas. The club meets the second Sunday of every month.

Cynthia's Book Club is currently reading The Hobbit.

The SUBVERSIVE Book Club for Teens: Ages 13 and up.
The books chosen for this group have controversial themes guaranteed to excite stimulating debate. Some adult content and language.
Back to school new meeting time is Saturday at 4 p.m. The Subversive Book Club is led by Magic Tree staff member Bronwyn Wright.

: Bronwyn Wright is reforming the Sci Fi/Fantasy Book Club. If you are 10 or older and would like to read more or already are reading and enjoying these genres, please call the store and ask to be put on the list.
